Mt Clemens Cakesmash session

Sweet Brynley was at the studio for her Mt Clemens cakesmash session. It was a bittersweet moment. She’s the daughter of good friends, and it’s the first time we haven’t been able to be around to watch friend’s kids grow through their first year. We always love to celebrate milestones together, camp as a group. Thanks to Covid we only had the chance to enjoy her sweet face thru social media.

Having her at the studio for her Mt Clemens Cakesmash Session was so fun.

It was great to catch up with BJ and Carrie, I’ve missed them so much!! I’ve known BJ since Jr High! Man does that make me feel old. Carrie is a teacher, and we all know what teachers across the country are facing right now. I hope everyone has a wonderful school year, no matter what it looks like.

For Brynley’s cakesmash session Carrie went with a unicorn and rainbow theme. A rainbow baby is a term for a child born after the loss of another child. And so we went all out, rainbows everywhere. Brynley’s smile lights up a room, she is so adorable.

Of course, we started the session with some family images. Miss Brynley got to snuggle with Mom and Dad, and just show off her adorable smile. I am so excited to be using the new studio. The lifestyle room has turned out so beautifully. I can’t wait to finish it off and clean out the rest of the mess lingering from the old studio.

Enjoy the sneak peaks of Brynley’s Mt Clemens Cakesmash session!

As always, the adorable unicorn cake in all it’s rainbow glory is from Amber over at Amber’s Cakes. If you’re ever in the Sterling Height’s area, check her out. Yummy cookies and cakes!!

The adorable backdrop was purchased from Freebird Prop Shoppe. I actually purchased it a few weeks after Brynley’s newborn session. I knew it was going to be perfect.
