Arya was a blessing to have in the studio, I’m so excited to be her Macomb Newborn Photographer. She came after a long string of baby boys, and I was feeling burnt out on blues and greens. When her mom emailed me to say “she has finally arrived”, she said I should get out my girly fall props. Challenge accepted! I was so excited.

I got this black and mustard floral wrap from AV Props that I was itching to use. It’s not usually a requested color, but this was my moment. I wrapped it around a bucket and put a matching yellow drop on the floor. It’s currently standing as one of my most recent favorite images. She looks amazing in these mustard yellows.

We took those fall colors and sprinkled them throughout the rest of her session. Then of course I couldn’t resist this beautiful deep raspberry color. I’m not much of a fan for any pink shade, but this is a gorgeous color!

Arya brought two big sisters, Zoe and Claire, with her. They were the perfect helpers. Sometimes having siblings in the studio is hard. It’s a small space, and toddlers can get restless really quick. Depending on their ages, it can be hard to keep them quiet (which helps baby to stay sleeping). Kids want to eat, run around, talk, then they are thirsty, they need to go potty. Bringing a new baby home can leave parents feeling easily frustrated. But, rest assured, I don’t mind talking to your littles. As a mom of 3 myself, I can understand what it’s like to have a little person that never runs out of conversational topics! In the case of Zoe and Claire, I put them to work, handing me items and of course, they eagerly talked my ear off about everything under the sun! Three gorgeous girls to make this family whole!

I sure do hope you enjoyed these photos from my time as Arya’s Macomb Newborn Photographer!
