Arya was a blessing to have in the studio, I’m so excited to be her Macomb Newborn Photographer. She came after a long string of baby boys, and I was feeling burnt out on blues and greens. When her mom emailed me to say she had finally arrived, she said I should get out my girly fall props. Challenge accepted! I was so excited.
I had gotten this black and mustard floral wrap from AV Props that I was itching to use. It’s not usually a requested color, but I knew this was my moment. I wrapped it around a bucket and put a matching yellow drop on the floor. It’s currently standing as one of my most recent favorite images. She looks amazing in these mustard yellows.
We took those fall colors and sprinkled them throughout the rest of her session. Then of course I couldn’t resist this beautiful deep raspberry color. I don’t usually love pinks in any shade, but this is a gorgeous color!
Arya brought with her two big sisters, Zoe and Claire. They were the perfect helpers. Sometimes having siblings in the studio is hard. It’s a small space, and toddlers can get restless really quick. Depending on their ages, it can be hard to keep them quiet (which helps baby to stay sleeping). But kids want to eat, run around, talk, then they are thirsty, they need to go potty. Right after bringing a new baby home, parents can sometimes feel frustrated easily. But, I put them to work, handing me items I needed and of course, they were eager to talk my ear off about everything under the sun! Three gorgeous girls to make this family whole!
I sure do hope you enjoyed these photos from my time as Arya’s Macomb Newborn Photographer!
