When Christine walked in for her Royal Oak studio maternity session I knew exactly who’s sister she was. I may be terrible at remembering names. Even moments after you tell me it. But I’m pretty decent at faces. Now I might look at you and wonder, how do I know you? But I will nearly always remember your face.
This is Christine’s first baby, they’ll be having a boy. There’s so much anxiety that goes into that first baby isn’t there? Is it just me? I can overthink anything. But I feel sure that many first time parents have so many ideas about what kind of parent they want to be. And somehow know so little about what to expect as first time parents. I remember those days of worrying about things well beyond my control, and my oldest is 14 now.
When I had my second and third babies I was busy chasing other kids around, so I didn’t have the time of day to log as many hours overthinking as I had before.
The good news is I have a fully stocked studio for you. When you come in for sessions I have water, coffee, all the sets ready for us to photograph on. And a client closet you are always welcome to go through when you aren’t sure what to wear. I don’t want you to have to worry about the little things that get easily forgotten as you scramble out the door.
