This trio of adorable boys were in today for their Mt Clemens milestone photos. They are all summer birthday boys and if you are going to go through the craze of a photo session, you might as well do it all at once. These three were really amazing. I’ve photographed two out of the three since they were newborns. It’s so fun to watch them grow up.
The boys are at a great age, because stinky feet and farting noises get the best natural smiles, where they’d normally feel very stiff and nervous. The hardest part of the day wasn’t trying to get natural smiles, it was trying to get all three to sit still and smile at the same time. Thank goodness for photoshop!
When you come in for a Mt Clemens milestone session, we might be celebrating 6 months, 9 months, or any birthdays beyond the first year. Many clients like to come back on a yearly basis to document the kids growing year to year. We usually do two small simple setups. I like using my lifestyle space for these sessions. We can keep a similar look throughout easily. Between the bed, the bench, a chair and the floor we have lots of options and they’ll all look similar in the end. I also like to do a little in studio lighting as well. Typically this is just a nice solid paper, no big setups like we would do at the first birthday. It’s a simple classic way to capture your kids personality.
