Milestone sessions capture the beautiful stages between newborn and first birthday. From first smiles to confident walkers, these sessions document your baby’s growth in a simple, timeless way. Designed for babies 3 to 12 months old, each session focuses on personality, connection, and natural expressions.
Tummy Time
Around 3 months old they start smiling and giggling in response to their parents interactions. To get the most variety out of this milestone you want to make sure they can lift their heads while laying on their tummy and look forward when propped up on their elbows.
Sitters
By 6 or 7 months old they are often sitting on their own. Sometimes they’ll need a little extra support to stay upright, but they’re learning to balance themselves. I like to capture them exploring their toes, those big smiles, and we revisit tummy time, which they are now superstars at. That’s a fun comparison from where they were last visit to where they are now.
Explorers
Your little 9 month old is probably an accomplished sitter, and could possibly be crawling away pretty quickly. They are just learning to pull themselves up on furniture and stand with support. Here we will do supported standing poses and sitting positions.
