Isla has grown so much! It was so fun to hang out with her at her 6 month session. I’m not completely sure the feeling was mutual, but I really enjoyed it. She’s a total doll, and I worked really hard to try for smiles. While she wasn’t super smiley, she did deliver some perfect expressions.
A 6 month session is a great way to document the growth that’s happened. Your little baby has turned into a little kid! She might be sitting up, or crawling. She’s probably got a sense of humor, and a strong sense of growing independence.
Isla’s mom brought this sweet little ruffle butt diaper cover. I couldn’t get enough of her, and all her adorable-ness.
When she wouldn’t smile big here, I attempted my newborn swing, and that didn’t amuse her.
So we did switch up and tried the lifestyle space, thinking maybe she didn’t like the studio light. Nothing.
So we finally came back to the studio for one more outfit that her mom brought for her to wear. That adorable little spring yellow dress with a lacy collar. Ugh, I can’t get enough! But while I got silly expressions, she just wasn’t gonna smile for us.
After I delivered her gallery her mom said these photos totally captured her personality, so I guess in the end it was a win!
