Grace was in the studio recently for her newborn session. She is this adorable little bundle of dark hair, gorgeous skin and perfect little rolls. She’s a perfect little angel, and I so enjoyed being her Macomb Newborn Photographer!
I got to meet her mom Victoria when she came to the studio for her complimentary mini maternity session that is offered to all my newborn clients. We got along so nicely, just chatting about their new bundle of joy.
So the day is here for Grace’s newborn session and her Mom and Dad are visibly so in love with her. They just enjoyed every pose and of course said she was the cutest baby ever (she is though right?)
I always suggest bringing a pacifier to your newborn session, even if your new bundle doesn’t use one at home. Some babies are light sleepers, or might have a bit of gas. Having that paci on hand will soothe them without needing to stop for a feed/snuggle. It’s funny that usually even babies that don’t enjoy a pacifier at home will settle down with one at the studio. I think it’s because the studio is so warm, and we have white noise playing. The key components all just fall together once that pacifier is introduced.
If you are looking for a pacifier to bring to your own session, I suggest the Jolly Pop brand.
It’s the one piece silicone kind that you get at the hospital. I prefer these because when baby is using them, no marks are left on their faces from plastic. Don’t worry if you forget yours at home, I get it, you have a lot going on. I have a basket full of factory sealed pacifiers at the studio!
Enjoy these images from my time as her Macomb Newborn Photographer! If you’d like to see images from her mom’s complimentary mini maternity you can see them at the link here.
