Those first few days after birth are always a whirwind of commotion, sleep deprivation, strange hospital noises, nurses in the middle of the night, more paperwork than you can image. So hiring a Fresh 48 photographer is becoming more popular to help document those first days and to have some sense of what went on in the haze.
When I met the McHenry’s at St John Moross in Grosse Pointe Woods I was most excited to photograph the girls meeting their new little brother. Tara and Tom have 3 sweet little girls, and they had just welcomed a tiny little boy. The countertop in their room was decorated with artwork the girls had drawn to welcome him.
Tara waited excitedly in the hallway for the girls to arrive with their Dad. She wanted to greet them before they gave all their attention to the new little one.
As big sisters already, Nora and Lucy knew what to expect. But Savannah had no idea what she was walking in to. She was immediately in love and could hardly take her eyes off him (at least, as long as a 2 year olds attention span would hold).
There is definitely no shortage of love for Jack. I bet those girls are going to argue over who gets to snuggle him the most.
Congratulations McHenry Family. Thank you for welcoming me as your Grosse Point Fresh 48 photographer! I can’t wait to see you for Jack’s newborn session.
Love the gallery! I especially love the image of sisters at the door listening and looking like they can not wait to go in.
So much love and emotions in these images! What a special family moment!
These are soo beautiful. I’m sure the family is so in love with these. Look at all of those siblings.
The precious moments you captured for this beautiful family will be a treasure forever! You are SO talented!!!!!!!!!!
