I met up with the Damore family for their family session at Sheldon Estates inside Stoney Creek. It’s a pretty cool place if you have never been there. It’s a quick walk from the golf course, or you can bike in through the trails. There’s a lot of land back there to explore. I’ve seen people bike, walk, jog and even ski in the winter through the trails.

First off, when they all climbed out of their car, I nearly jumped for joy. Their outfits were amazing. Everything was so well coordinated without being to matchy. It was a magazine worthy look.

It’s not often I get to work with families that have older kids. Lately it seems like all my kid clients were pretty young. So when their 10 year old daughter hoped out I just knew it was going to be fun. And she didn’t disappoint. As sweet as could be, Gabriella was on board for everything I tossed at her. I didn’t have to make a single joke or fart noise to get her to laugh.

Sheldon Estates

If you’re thinking about getting a family session at Sheldon Estates on the schedule, you can do some research on the grounds before you head to Stoney Creek. There isn’t a ton out there, but it’s a neat story and makes walking that path pretty interesting to think about what the grounds would have looked like in their prime.

After the tree spot, we walked around the back half, to catch some of the setting sun up at the steps near the top steps. We had fun wandering around before dashing over to my most favorite field for a few more in gorgeous fall sunlight.

Enjoy a glimpse at our time together, and reach out if you’re considering a family session at Sheldon Estates. I’d love to help you plan!
