It’s so important to talk to your photographer if you need an allergy free cake smash. I provide everything for your session, from setup to cake, and even outfits if you need. So it’s incredibly important to tell me about all the allergies you’ve experienced so far with your little one so my baker can be 100% informed when she makes your cake.
Zackary has an egg allergy. So my baker made him a special a cake that has no eggs. Knowing ahead of time is the best way so she can test out the best recipes for the type of cake I need. Because I have one year olds digging into it (hopefully at least). I want a cake that will travel well (I have to get it to the studio), stand tall (I like my cakes tall and skinny), but still be soft enough to allow tiny hands to dig in. Amber over at Amber’s Cakes has never disappointed. She makes the yummies cakes, parents always sneak a taste and rave about hers. I love having a baker on my team, because while I usually prefer a naked cake like Zackary’s. Once in a while I need a themed cake and she’s always my go to person.
Mom requested a simple setup that just focused on Zackary. His big sister’s hovered close by just in case there was some spare cake for them.
He was so sweet, and gave his cake a strong shot. He did eat some, but didn’t get to messy. His sisters did get to sneak in for a bite, and even dad tried it.
