your family photograph is so important

Family photography is about more than getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time. It’s about making sure you are part of the story you’re creating together.

As a Metro Detroit family photographer, I work with parents who want images that reflect their family as they are in this season, without stiff posing or rushed sessions. Family sessions are designed to feel relaxed and intentional, allowing space for connection, movement, and personality to come through naturally.

Over time, these images become more meaningful. You begin to see how your children grow, how relationships shift, and how small moments turn into memories you never want to lose. My goal is to help you build a collection of family photographs you return to year after year, not just something you check off once.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, together, and preserving what this season feels like while you’re living it.

create memories to cherish…

Shelby Township Family Photographer | The M. Family

2020 took a lot away from us. Socializing was a big part of our loss. I've known Ray since high school, and Erica shortly after. Our families have been friends for a lot of years. So it was nice to see them again, even if it was...
