I got to be Rochester newborn photographer for this adorable little dark haired beauty while she was at the studio today. I met this adorable family when Giulio was 9 months old I think. Most recently I saw them last fall for an extended family session. Stefana told me at the newborn session, that the day after that portrait session she found out she was pregnant.
Now they’ve added a little girl to their family, and I bet they are over the moon with her. She was just a perfect little angle for me. She was a little awake at the very beginning. But it wasn’t so much that a snuggly wrap and a little heat couldn’t lull her back to sleep. For the most part she slept straight through. We stopped only once after I finished her prop posing for a snack break and then she knocked right back out for table posing. Even in the brief moments she was awake (like her last set of parent poses), she was so calm. She just looked around and took in the environment. She is a totally chill baby.
I remembered from our last family session that Giulio is a busy body. That little man doesn’t have time to sit still and take photos. So I promised his mom Id work some of my best photoshop magic to get a sibling image. Wish me luck. I am pretty confident in my sibling composites, but I think I will need one image for his legs, one for his body/arms, and one for his smile. Plus the one with his sister in the bucket. Believe it or not, that isn’t even my biggest sibling composite. I think my record is bits and pieces of 7 images to make one sibling photo look realistic. I love when parents are shocked at that image. They remember how rough it was, and can’t believe how beautiful it turned out.
