Terrie and Joe were in for their Mount Clemens Maternity session this past week, they are quite possibly the sweetest couple ever. They are expecting their first baby boy this summer.
I’m not sure if her expecting a baby boy is the reason that Terrie choose a blue dress. But I special ordered this just for her session. She’s wearing a gorgeous baby blue dress that I found on Etsy for her. It’s beautifully made with thick, heavy material that hangs so nicely on her.
These two are just a gorgeous couple, so in love, and excited for their firstborn to make his arrival.
I spent the majority of our session posing Terrie, but it’s always fun to get Dad’s involved here and there. I love their connection, and these snuggly poses of the two of them are fire!
Maternity sessions can be done at the studio, or outdoors when the weather is nice. If you have your own wardrobe you’d like to wear I’m happy to go through options with you to find something that will work for your session. If you aren’t sure what to wear, I have some dresses at the studio, and I can help you with alternate outfit options that aren’t dresses! I suggest planning for two or more looks, for many moms this is something dressier, and something more casual.
Planning for the future
The nursery is western themed, and I’m so excited to show them what I bought for their newborn session. I have a couple surprises in store for them that are going to be so adorable!
We also chatted about way down the road and baby’s cake smash. I stumbled across an adorable inspiration photo for a western setup. I couldn’t resist it. Terrie and Joe loved it. She said they had just talked about it recently and were thinking of maybe doing ribs instead of cake. How cute is that idea? I don’t want to rush their first year, but I can’t wait to photograph it for them!
Until I can get all those sessions done (come back in a year and check them out), enjoy Terrie’s Mount Clemens maternity session. If you are expecting, 28-32 weeks is a great time to be in the studio. So the earlier you can plan, the better!
