Nicole wanted to mark her second pregnancy with an in home lifestyle maternity session. She was excited to include her husband Scott and their son Micah.
I didn’t know until I got to their home that they also had a sweet little dog they adored, and a cat that could not have been less interested in joining photos. No matter how many times they carried her back in, she just ran away at the first opportunity.
Nicole and Scott spend a lot of time snuggling Micah in bed while they sing and read books. I was pleasantly surprised when Scott busted the guitar out and started to play for his family. Micah ate up his dad’s song, and wanted to get his own little guitar to join in on the fun.
We made sure to break out a few of the family’s favorite books to read. Micah loves his story time with Mom and Dad and he snuggled right in to point out his favorite characters.
Lifestyle maternity sessions are so sweet and emotional. They really let your home life shine through. I loved that Nicole and Scott just wanted to feel at home. They hung out in their jammies, no pressure to be something we aren’t.
They are an adorable family, and are so excited to meet their new addition. I loved walking thru their home to admire all their family photos. Including their maternity images from when Nicole was pregnant with Micah! What a great legacy they are creating for their children to love.
