Mia’s mom and dad had a special vision for their daughter’s first birthday. They wanted a girly cake smash set, pink florals, wood elements, the teepee, and just all around light and bright. I feel like we hit it out of the park, don’t you?
Like many of my cake smash sessions (and despite the order of these images) we started with a few family photos. I can see why Mia is as adorable as she is, her parents are absolutely beautiful. And they just looked at her with such adoration. Her little beaming smile just makes me so happy, she’s clearly a very loved little girl.
After that we moved into the cake smash, and she was so excited. She actually really liked my light, and whenever I’d flash the light she would look at it and giggle. It was the funniest thing. But she took her time, played in the cake, and enjoyed a few nibbles. She didn’t eat a ton, but she also didn’t hate the cake, so I take that as a win.
