Celebrating baby’s first year with a cake smash is such a fun milestone. When Milena’s Mom said she was looking for her session to be colorful and fun, just like her first year had been, we got to work. She wanted confetti, and all the colors.
In to my studio walked this gorgeous little lady, who was so nervous. We always start with traditional portraits for parents that might not want to hang cake smash session photos on their wall all year. Getting Mila to crack a smile was tough, and I was nervous she wouldn’t enjoy her cake. But boy was I wrong!
Apparently the way to her heart was through sugar. She was ready to party. We had such fun, her dad played music, and we danced and sang. Mila already has better dance moves than I do. She ended up so expressive and energetic.
