Is it possible to have multiple full time jobs? If so, that is how I would describe myself.
This is my business. I am a full time photographer. I have built this dream from the ground up. I'm so freaking proud of it and pour my heart and soul into every aspect of my business. I've always loved photography, and have always been fascinated with the industry. When I was younger, my sister and I would take darkroom classes, and posing workshops together. Before the digital age we shot on slides and on film. I’m pretty sure I have owned dozens of cameras in my lifetime, from my point and shoot cameras, to the professional DSLR systems, to my GoPro, and now I use a mirrorless system which is saving my back and neck on long wedding days.
I'm also a mom and wife. Scheduling the lives of a family is definitely a full time job! Included in there somewhere is chef, chauffeur, receptionist, peace-keeper, and maid, plus I'm sure a dozen other titles I've earned over the last 11 years.
I was born and raised here in Southeast Michigan. Since I was a teenager I've had a camera in my hands. I love learning new things about photography. I'm always pushing myself to learn new techniques to make your sessions better!
With a passion for photography going hand in hand with my love for everything from the tiniest humans to the biggest of families I want to help preserve every milestone, birthday, and celebration along your path. I'm always pushing myself to learn new techniques to make your sessions better! So bring on the babies, the wedding days, and every celebration or anniversary that comes along!
